GREAT GEAR RECOMMENDATION - Danner Pronghorn Boot

The new and improved Danner Pronghorn boot adds rubber toe and heel rands for greater protection and durability. A new Mountain Goat outsole gives it a wider, more stable stance and more gription (my technical term) where you need it.
Rejoice Pronghorn disciples! Your prayers to the boot gods have been heard and answered with all new and improved versions of this popular line. Personally, I have always liked the Danner Pronghorn line of boots. They are part of my private collection, on my "keepers list" and I use them for desert and grassy flats and foothills. Basically quail and antelope hunting or just knocking around camp.
They are a soft flexible boot so I would not load up and hump a big pack in the steeps with them but they work very well for the intended application. Furthermore, if you maintain them properly they will keep your feet dry and warm. Mine have.
"...it is a lighter, faster, stronger version that will carry the legacy of the hunt to a new generation". However you want to say it, the new line of Pronghorns is not out yet but according to the folks at Danner you won't have to wait too much longer. They're coming to a retail outlet near you in July.
Thanks.
